Seems some stealth buffs (and by stealth, I mean B-2 Bomber stealth…quiet and massive) hit last night. Dummy Recount log below; yes, my rotation is not the greatest yet; yes, I haven’t regemmed or anything. Napkin math says it’s a 50% buff to yellow damage (not sure about FB, don’t know how much energy I did it with). Overall, that’s looking like a 30%-35% buff, which should put us back to where we were pre-4.0.1, or even a little more. Obviously, somebody’ll have to do some raid testing. Yowza.

Yay! And Gah! I’ve been working on tweaking my numbers and gear for the past two days, just in a theoretical standpoint. Hmm. Actually, if it’s just a co-efficient change, the relative stat values shouldn’t change that much. Except for maybe hit. Hmmm. ~boots up Mew again~

Right now I’m at almost 11k self-buffed on a dummy. Compared to 7.3k before the patch. It won’t last.
I regemmed for hit/exp cap and reforged as much as possible into mastery. I gemmed yellow agi/haste, but full agi is probably better even in +6 agi socket bonus pieces. Actually, I’m positive that agi/crit is better than agi/haste, since more than 50% of my DPS comes from bleeds, and they don’t profit from haste.
All DoTs (incl bleeds) benefit from haste now. You squeeze in more ticks for the duration of the bleed. Ofc this means that haste is more valuable if a small bit more gives you another tick than if it just did (and you need a boatload for the next tick to get included.
@Hanak Was that changed in the damage buff overnight? Because last I knew, physical dots did not benefit from haste. It would be double-dipping with both our energy regen and our dots to benefit from haste.
No, bleeds still do not scale from haste. They just hit harder. :)
