(xposted on TFD and WoM)

The good news: my wife has recovered enough to go home. The bad news: there’s still a lot of adjustment we have to do. I didn’t really think it through, but I actually had more free time in the hospital to play/write because the nurses took care of her personal care. Now that she’s home, I’m having to help her with everything (including adjusting to life as an ostomate), so I haven’t touched a keyboard (until now) since we got home a week ago.

I’m still keeping up with goings-on via RSS on my phone…just don’t expect me to say anything meaningful for a while. Hope you guys are having fun in WoW!

I always enjoyed to read all your super advice on playing druid. I was really worried when i saw you post on your wife health. I really hope that the ostomate is not definitive. All my wishes that thing goes better and that your wife fully recover. Sorry for the broken english, but it is really from the depth of my heart.

  4. Tried e-mailing you, but I think it kept failing so thought I’d just post here…

Hey Chase, I haven’t been to your site in a while, but checked it today to look up some Feral stuff. I play a Shadowpriest as my main, but just started leveling my 85 Feral today and where else would I go for the best Feral info, but Fluid Druid of course.

Anyway, saw your posts about your wife and just wanted to send my condolences. I hope everything is ok with her and that she makes a speedy recovery. Although you might be kicking yourself for not going to the hospital sooner, you should be grateful you did go and that she was able to get help.

I just wanted to send you a note to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife during this trying time. I have always thought your site was the premier Druid site on the entire Internet; in fact, it was the reason I leveled a Feral back in WOTLK. It is well written, thorough, up-to-date… simply the best. Anyway, I hope things get back to normal soon and best wishes for a quick recovery!

    Regards,

Colbee the Bear (and sometimes Colbee the Cat on Tichondrius, Alliance)
