Valor Trinket or T11?

I'm torn between my next valor badge upgrade.

I'm currently using the Rep gloves from wilhammer, but have already purchased the T11 legs.

So once I hit 1650 Valor again, do I go for Fluid death? Or replace my rep gloves with T11 for the 10% rake bonus from 2T11.

Which basically comes down to, does 40 more Agility from upgrading H-Tia's to FD, hold up to a 10% dmg increase on rake's DoTs.

I'd vote for trinket based solely on the fact that over the next 2 weeks that your building up your valor points again, if the gloves drop out of BH you're going to kick yourself

i tend to have no luck on BH drops mind you, lol. And with my luck the legs will drop again or something. Although my bear set could use em.

My guild is 4/12 currently and i dont run as many daily randoms as I should due to wife aggro, so each purchase really leaves me hovering over the button before choosing

If you are 4/12 go for FD. You wont be replacing it for a really long time and there is the chance the gloves will drop.

wow, your gear is eerily similar to mine. I assumed the best way to go was to get T11 ASAP, but now you guys are saying otherwise... thanks for the info

The fact is we really got lucky that such a powerful trinket can be bought for points. All other trinks you have to get lucky they drop or have the gold to buy. If you buy FD and clear all Heroic T11 encounters there is a really good chance you will still be using it when you walk into T12.

Dunno if it helps or not, but chances are 4.1 will hit in the next two weeks - and when it does valor points should be significantly easier to obtain as everyone runs ZA/ZG ad nauseum to get mounts and the like. That will also help with some of the itemization concerns - but no great trinket comes from the new places anyway.

Fluid Death will very likely remain a strong trinket going forward. Even with the firelands trinkets we know about it is valuable given that it's consistent in both categories.

Well if you're progressing more quickly than just 4/12, the tier gear would be a better option for the 2p. But yeah, if you're just going through it slowly, may as well pick up an awesome trinket like FD, especially if you haven't got the reg EoC like I did (which I used with UW and put off buying FD while I got the tier pieces instead).

I've got both reg-EoC, and UW, but I'm matching up UW with heroic Tia's right now. Is that not the right thing to do?

Got to DPs last night and managed about 19.8k DPS on Magmaw, lol
