Proving Grounds

Endless: repeat's wave 1-10 but each wave get's progressively harder(+10% hp per wave)

Wave 1 - 3 klaaxi, 6 varmint
wave 2 - 2 guard 1 klax 1 Mystic 1 banshee
wave 3 - 15~ varmints, 2 banana-tosser
wave 4 - 3 guardians, 1 klaxxi, 1 bomb, 1 Berserking(buff)
wave 5 - 1 Sha, 1 Banshee, 1 Slayer, 1 Mystic
Wave 6 - 2 Mystics, 6 varmints
wave 7 - 3 Guardians, 2 Klaxxi, 1 Banana-tosser, 1 Berserking(buff)
Wave 8 - 3 Banshee, 1 Mystic, 2 Slayer's
wave 9 - 2 guardians, 1 Slayer, 1 klaxxi, 1 banana-tosser, 1 banshee
Wave 10 - 1 Sha



Banana-tosser - Throw banana's at you, reduces hit by 75%
Banshee - These have a timer, if said timer runs out you lose(bomb on their head, 15s)
Guardian - Frontal shield, hit from behind. Rake is very effective.
Amber-Shapers - Casts Amber Gobule, Explodes on contact stunning anything it touches for 5 seconds and increases the damage taken by 50%, be careful as if you're too close it will stun you also. Can be interupted(if needed)
Mystic - Single target healers, can be interupted
Slayer - Don't do anything?
Sha - Has a shield that makes them take reduced damage lasts, once it runs out they take 500% extra damage for 18 seconds.
Varmint - Easy, 2 full thrashes or 1 full rake normally kills early on

Everything has a "Large" version which has more HP.

I start to struggle pretty hard after wave 10. My best was 14, but that's after quite a bit of attempts.

I'm using Renataki's and Juju for trinkets and Treants / HotW for dps talents. I havnt really tried NV yet but in my mind it just doesn't seem strong enough. It's difficult to capitalize on DoC since energy is a huge limiting factor here. Seem's like a crap shot if I'll proc PS or not. I use Berserk on 5, and 10, and I try to use Synapse Springs every wave.

I did not re-gem but I did try reforging to mastery.


Keep in mind you get downscaled so your legendary meta gem (if you have it) no longer activates. You could also try using Vortex + Typhoon as a poor-man's grip to group them up then HotW hurricane.

I use Mass entangle for the banana-tosser, I will give Typhoon a try though. As far as the meta goes, regemming is a little expensive since this is just for fun.

edit: Typhoon will push the one's that are moving(Banshee, and Banana-tosser's), but not the ones that are rooted in place. Mass entangle is definitely the way to go here. It's especially good on Wave 3/13/23, and any wave where the tosser run's next to another mob.

I managed to get past wave 30 finally! and I have a video for those of you who're interested in the wave 30 title. I actually failed on wave 30 the first go, at about 38~ minutes I try again and get all the way up to 38. It was pretty difficult all in all, and I had a great time doing it. I hope blizzard adds more things like this in the future!

I reforged to mastery, keeping hit/expertise cap as Sha's and Guardians are 93.
I did not re-gem my meta or anything else for that matter.
I stuck with Juju and Renataki's
I use Berserk/Berserking on 5/10/15/20/25/30 ect.
I saved the Berserk buffs that spawn for waves 8/9/18/19/28/29 as those are by far the hardest waves.

thanks for the info! I havent tried endless yet got gold in one go on bronze/silver/gold but then my guild was doing a flex so I left to do that. I also got the dps You're doing it wrong as a guardian which was pretty easy honestly.
