Okay, so how Do you do it then? You mean you use SimC but not through the GUI?

Sync with cooldowns as much as possible without losing usages within the fight's duration.

I use SimC via command line using some comparison .simc files I've constructed.

You then need a file called pointer.simc in the parent directory for it to use as for the other items, in my case this is just a file containing the path to whatever profile I want to use but it could also just be a profile itself.

I then use a batch file to run the whole setup but you can instead type via command line (adjust path to SimC executable as necessary)
Code: Select all
C:\simulationcraft\simc64.exe trinkets\T17.simc trinkets\baseline.simc html=trinket_comparison.html

Quick question: during berserk should we use ps procs for healing touch always or only if we know we will be running low on energy and have extra florals to spend?

Unless you are going to energy cap I believe spending PS procs on HTs with BT is always preferential use of your florals :P

Always HT regardless of energy cap.

Rofl, florals, thanks autocorrect! Meant globals obviously.

Just wasn't sure if that changed because of incarnation or not. Thanks!

Is it worth to "game" SR duration when Incarnation is about to come off cooldown?

For example, if Incarnation is up in 20 seconds, is it worth to cast only a 2CP SR ?

It is. You will either Shred or Rake right away when Incarnation goes up which will result in a 5CP Savage Roar if you use the Glyph of Savage Roar which you do.

I'm at work at the moment so I'm looking forward to more information about the Trinket situation.

Here's the trinket rankings after the changes. Please take them with a grain of salt as it is possible some trinkets have been missed. Also, the profiles dropped around 2k DPS across the board compared to the last rankings and I'm really not sure why (don't have time to look into it right now), hence the guide not being updated with this information yet.

LSDC and SoW are still the best choice before HC and Mythic Foundry so we're still good to go.

I wonder why the Coin wasn't changed tho. It seems to me that the Critical Strike gain is too low for a 665 trinket.

*shrug* Some people say it was overtuned. How much of a chance of another tuning pass is there?

Think it is worth putting in a ticket to get back my emblem of Munificent terror or just keep the primal insignia because they are close and it has damage reduction?

Perhaps it was, based on this http://blue.mmo-champion.com/topic/351957-trinket-hotfixes/

You just use the item restore service. I don't think a GM will restore it for you.

Anyways, I would just use the Insignia, 16 DPS isn't a statistically significant difference. Even if you assume that it is perfectly accurate I would still prefer the Insignia because you can get much more out of it by planning around the proc.

I gotta say, this is pretty hilariously stupid:
So, have no fear of purchasing any of these trinkets and only to have them end up nerfed.

Yeah, cause its not like they would ever do that! *sarcasm*

Just wondering how Copeland is any different from coin? It gives the same benefit on use but Copelands now has almost double the crit?

Spellpower on use vs agility on use?

Wasnt the crit portion of agility just removed anyways? Doesnt it only give AP now?

Blizz not apply things in a balanced fashion... yeah, doesn't seem equal. Is Copeland's as great for all caster's as Coin is for Agi users? Maybe coin will get a buff and go back on top? We can hope.

I meant why copelands was buffed and the Coin not. I feel that the trinkets are the same for Casters as Coin is for us. Not that we should use Copelands.
