5.1 Symbiosis Changes
Apparently we're getting the following symbiosis changes in 5.1 tomorrow:
Symbiosis:
Mass Dispel's mana cost has been increased to match the Priest version, and its cooldown has been increased to 60 seconds.
The cast time of Symbiosis has been reduced to 2 seconds.
Survival Instincts is once again granted to Brewmaster Monks and now costs 2 Chi to use.
Might of Ursoc is once again granted to Blood Death Knights, and now costs 30 Runic Power.
Savage Defense is once again granted to Protection Warriors, but now only provides a 30% increase to dodge.
Barkskin is once again granted to Protection Paladins, and now costs 1 Holy Power.
The cooldown of Stampeding Shout provided by Symbiosis has been reduced to 5 minutes.
The duration of Solar Beam provided by Symbiosis now displays correctly as 4 seconds.
I guess we're back to always giving it to the tank?

Only if your tanks need more cooldowns. It should continue to be very situational depending on what the raid needs on any given fight.

For the most part I am not seeing tanks have lots of issues with surviving. It's mostly mechanics that will hurt the raid instead of the tank dying.

warriors win--gimme shatter, 50 energy kinda sucks, but raid dps boost = winner.
And now at least he gets something worthwhile, 30% inc dodge.

Prot Warriors still exist? We don't even have any warriors 
But yes, that does sound like one of the more compelling options for sure.

In my raid team the main tank is a warrior.
