I've got the box's suggesting its buffed with DoC / etc ... but not the ones telling me I can/should reapply my DoT _ These are the ones I want... not the buffed ones :-(

So I'm a noob when it comes to advanced trinket proc snapshotting - I've only used Badkitty since I started raiding feral in WOTLK. Is Droodfocus the go-to addon for this kind of thing? And if so, is there a guide or some kind of step-by-process for setting it up? I loaded it into my UI and had no idea what to do with it. Any help would be appreciated!

DroodFocus can be used for pretty much every buff/proc but the majority of ferals that I talk to that use DroodFocus use it simply for Bleeds.

WeakAuras is the go to addon for buffs/procs for the most part. It is super powerful and you can track basically everything as well as make additional timers for the ICD of a buff(IE AoC Agi proc).

Personally I use DroodFocus for Rake, Rip, Trash, and Savage Roar on 1 row and then row 2 is Weakened Armor, Predatory Swiftness, Faerie Fire, and Clearcasting.

Everything else like Berserk, Bloodlust, Trinkets, Agi Pot, DoC, 2/4piece, and Bleed Ratios are all WeakAuras.

Ahh okay so people use Droodfocus the same as I use Badkitty. Weakauras is the one I want. Thanks!

PowerAuras is also an option. It wasn't maintained for a while but it's been picked up by someone and is fully workable again.

I've been meaning to set up my ui like this.

Currently I use Droodfocus to track bleed strengths and Tell Me When to track when my trinkets proc so I can do things like override a rake with rake spam if RoR is up but it is still a weaker bleed than the old Rake.

Hi guys, I'm trying to get some help on configuring droodfocus. I pretty much have my debuff/cooldown tracking setup in different addons, and I'm happy with my setup, but I do love the idea of having a little icon that lets me know whether or not my current bleed is stronger or weaker than one I can currently apply. So, all I'm interested in is the DoTs power feature of Droodfocus.

I've managed to get it to almost where I want it, but I'm kind of stuck going forward. Here are a few screenshots to help describe what I've got and what I'm trying to do:

So, basically, I just want the colored ball. Now, when the bleed is applied, the icon's alpha goes to 0% and it just fades out, and I get what I want (the second screenshot is what I'm going for). As you can see in the first screenshot, if the bleed is not applied or if SR is not up, then the icons are still visible behind the buttons. I want the icons gone at all times, but still have the colored dots up. The best fix I could get to was to make the icons 8x8, but if there is a way to make them go away entirely I'd love that.
Also, as I circled in the first screenshot and you can see in the second, the three dots at the bottom of the icon are visible, albeit moved far away and made very small. Can I disable those as well?

If these things are not doable, then that's fine; I will just keep doing my thing. The specific feature of the addon that I'm trying to isolate really intrigues me, however, and I'd love to be able to use it.

Hello. I have a few questions about addon.

Can i get certain color of dot timer based on time left? Example like in standart interface: dot got yellow timer and switches to red when less then 5s.
Can i get some functions of the addon visible all the time, while others only in combat, at the same time?
Can i duplicate special FX effects like DF aura 25 so they can look like it was at standart interface? Like this http://www.glowbie.net/blog/wp-content/ ... 3/omen.png

Hey guys I'm having a little problem with Droodfocus when the target is 25% the rip icon isn't being replaced with the ferocious bite Icon how would I fix this yes I've updated my addon and I've also replaced it but nothing has changed.

Hey guys!
The addon is messing up my Glyph UI recently. I have been use it for 4 month, but after 5.4.2 came out, my Glyph UI is having serious issues, such as won't show up or can't change Glyphs at all. And the issue won't be fixed even I reload/reboot game.

I disabled all my addones and put them back one by one, everything was working until DroodFocus came back. And I also did disable all the other addones and only put Droodfocus back, find out DF is the only causing the issue..
How can I fix it??
Any help would be appreciate!

Hi, started using FON tonight. I am trying to get it to show up on my droodfocus properly. I can get it to show up, but I can't get it to show me how many stacks I have.

Hey Guys,

I've been tanking as Guardian for all of MoP, but as we are now hitting Thok HC, I'll be going dps on it (yay, my old mainspec, miss it and going back to it in WoD :D )

Anyways, I've been going through pretty much all feral posts and ressources to get up to speed again, and one thing I've come across again and again is WA scripts for combo point bar, that supposedly detects crit "double points" faster than other combo point bars. I've now had it running along side DF for my "training sessions" but detect no difference between the WA scripted bar and the DF build-in combo point bar, so my question is, does DF infact use the same "smart approach" to combo point tracking through combat log, or does it use the Blizzard combo point API which is supposed to be slower when dealing with crit double points?

I wanna get rid of the WA script if DF does exactly the same and as fast, but if I've just been "lucky" and not seen the potential delay during my "training sessions", I'll ofc stick with the WA bar for better raid performance.

You won't notice the difference on the training dummy as your Combat log is just picking up your info so everything is on point.

The WA script is meant for a raiding environment when the combat log is picking up 9-24 other people and there is a bit of a delay as to when the 2nd CP will show up. Aggixx summed the WA up pretty well in that it just looks for a Crit and automatically gives you the extra CP where as a regular addon see's the CP move, see's the crit, waits for the proc, and then gives you the extra CP.

Most of the time it won't matter at all and a lot of ferals just use a regular CP tracker instead of the WA and they do perfectly fine. The WA is made for people that really want to Min/Max and don't want to wait for the extra CP to show up.

So.. I have been using DoodFocus for some time now and i love it. but i have found a small bug... Yes, i did try reinstalling with that lastest version and this happened after i deleted my WTF folder as well...

Apparently the mod is somehow preventing the abandon button in my quest log from working.. totally making the "Abandon" button non-fuctioning...

Now i happen to have Swatter as well which is a bug tracker. and it recorded the bugs. i posted the recorded bugs on Curse.com. i hope these get fixed soon.

an offset for the timer bars would be nice , but not too important..


here some cool tweaks:

make the time left 1 digit long if under 10 seconds


DroodFocus_tools.lua line 274
change
