Tier 13 and glyphs
So, got my 2-piece bonus, and I'm wondering;
Is glyph of bloodletting that useful any more? I'm considering swapping for GoTF, though I don't know if it is better or not.
Also, on Ultraxxion, does GoMangle surpass both those glyphs?

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
With T13 4PC you should be using GoTF in place of GoBL and on Ultraxion it is still best to use GoMangle instead of GoTF

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
No one has simmed Ultraxion fully - as in building a profile with periodic 2-3 second interruptions in the fight. Based on the sim results from doing plain old Patchwerk fights (PoPFs?) GoM is the best choice on a shredless fight.
As for GoTF vs. GoBL, you should wait for 4 piece before making that swap (unless of course you have an on use trinket with a cooldown that is a multiple of 30 seconds and/or you are an engineer where you would never swap to GoTF).

So, i also have just acuired my 2 peice. Using bloodletting at the moment. But im a little confused to what leaf just posted.
So i am an engineer. I have my synapse springs (400 agi for 10 seconds or w.e the use is) macroed to shred.
So your saying even with 4peice i should never sawp to GoTF?

As an engineer you should have it macro'd to Tigers Fury to make the most out of the extra energy and the 15% damage increase. Doing this both will always be sync'd up. If you use Glyph of Tigers Fury they will become desync'd which will kill any benifit you get from being an engineer.
Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
so even with 4 peice i shouldnt use GoTF just because i am an engineer.
So basically my question is, the TF synced properly with synapse springs ( engi proc) is better then 4 peice + GoTF?

Yes.
Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
Didn't want to make another thread but, quick question..
Which is better?
Full heroic T12 4PC gear (391)
or
2pceT12(391) + 2pceT13(397)
?

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
2 Piece 13 is better than both 2 and 4 Piece 12 put together, and that's just in the bonuses and not the extra stats that the higher iLvl will have.

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
Hi everyone,
I've got the following set and I'm unsure whether or not to change to T13
Shoulders (T12-h)
Legs (T12-h)
Hands (T12-h)
Chest (T12-normal)
Head (offset-h from Rhyolith) (in my backpack: T12-normal)
and
Shoulders (T13-lfr)
Legs (T13-normal)
Hands (T13-lfr)
Chest (T13-lfr)
Head (T13-lfr)
(valor point trinket)
What do you suggest? Should I switch to something 2p T-12 and 2p T-13, 4p T-13 or what better piece do I need to have a dps gain?
Thanks in advance!
Baruck

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
I had this same question so I took it to Mew, turns out that 4p T13 LFR beats 4p T12 Heroic by just above 1k dps.
I made the switch but haven't been able to test it in a raid setting, will have more info probably by the end of the week.
It does Sim better though using T12 4p on a high haste profile and T13 LFR 4p on a balanced 2ndary profile both hit/exp capped.

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
I'm running into this same issue, and hacking my brain.
I have 4xT12 Heroic, with offset legs from H-Beth. So, standard setup. Hit/Exp capped, with Haste slightly higher than the others because of the Matrix trinket (this one is regular).
Now I have Head, Hands and Leg for T13, all from LFR. And it is driving me to distraction.
2xT13 is just so powerful, that I'm in serious doubt if I should switch now or I should wait to
get 4xT13.
All my sims and tests should be that 2xT13-normal would be a gain, no question there. However, things are getting muddier since it is T13-LFR.
I just can't figure this one out. My trust in Rawr these days is ... well, lets just say I don't trust it like I used to. And I'm very new to Mew to trust myself using it.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
Mew makes it really easy to import a toon. Just select the "New" option and download your toon.
Just do separate runs with each gear set equipped in the armory and see how it looks.
Two things to make sure of when you import a toon:
1. At the bottom of the "Stats" tab make sure you have food, flask and potions.
2. At the top of the "Buffs/Debuffs" tab select "Raid" from the Presets and hit the Apply button.
After that just hit calculate and then you can compare the dps.

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
I will test it. I hope the web version is up to date enough, since I just can't get the .jar version to run. Keep getting "Could not find main class".
Thank you, I will give it a few tries and see what I can find out. (And keep checking here in case someone else tests it).

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
Mew acts strangely. Just for testing I changed my trinket to a far better one and mew gave me a loss of some thousand dps.
Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Re: Tier 13 and glyphs
One thing I learned by playing a druid for over 3 years is there are no better items: there are better gear setups. It is very weird sometimes.
I did some quick sims, using Mew, Rawr and Simc, for my previous question. Rawr and Mew both give me a dps loss, and Simc gives me a dps increase.
Overall, it doesn't look good, so I'm sticking with 4xT12 until I either get 4xT13, or at least 2 pieces of T13 regular. 2xT13-LFR is not cutting it, at least for my current gear.

What trinket did you replace, and with what? Did you modify your characters base stats and not just check the box? The trinket check boxes are there to let mew know which proc to use in the sim, but it won't change base stats. If the new trinket had a lot of agility, and the old one did not that would account for the loss.

Your JRE or file associations are screwed up.
