feral druid dps help

i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but i replaced two pieces of armor

i went from this: http://www.wowhead.com/item=78421 to http://www.wowhead.com/item=77111
gemmed +20 agility/20 mastery

i went from this: http://www.wowhead.com/item=78395 to http://www.wowhead.com/item=77180
gemmed +40 agiliity +40 agility +20 agility/20 hit

and i had a major dps decrease.

could someone possibly check my character out and post up advice?

To be honest I don't see anything that directly shouts "Major DPS problem." However I do see a few small issues. In no specific order:

- You are short of reaching both your hit cap and your expertise cap of 961 and 781, respectively. It is better in my opinion to be 2 or 3 points below as opposed to 2 or 3 points over, but you're way off on both.

- Your reforging scheme is a mess. You're reforging into mastery all over the place and then for some strange reason you reforge *out* of mastery in favor of crit on your ring. Remedy this by using a website (i hear wowreforge.com is good, although I've never used it) or an addon (likewise I've heard reforgelite is good, but I myself can't confirm).

- Personally I disagree with your secondary stat priority. I've seen the best results from using
Agility >>>>>> Hit/Exp to cap >>>Haste >>> Crit > Mastery. There are others who prefer a mastery set up but I'll leave that issue for them to address if they want.

Outside of those things there doesn't appear to be anything that would result in severe DPS issues. I would suggest you check everything you can on your end if the problem persists. Potentially you might have macros that have broken, keybinds that have been changed, abilities moved around on your action bars, broken gear, etc.

If none of that helps I would encourage you to post a link to some World of Logs parses in the "Let's talk about logs..." sticky.

i'm not quite sure what you mean i'm way off on both expertise and hit. i'm at 7.67% hit and cap is 8% and my in-game character screen says i'm at 24 expertise and cap is 26. could you please explain a bit further what i should be looking at?

thanks for pointing out my ring, i'm not sure why i did that mastery to crit reforge ... musta been drunk.

According to your sheet you are at 21 expertise (644). The cap of 26 (781) is a bit further away then you thought. Now you are correct that hitting those caps isn't critical, however I would expect you will see better results by hitting the caps then other wise. If you use the optimize button on wowreforge.com it should give you both caps and maximize your mastery which is what you seem to perfer. I recomend wowreforge as a great tool for you to look at your reforge posiblities with out having to spend money.

I would make one suggestion. Use a 40 agi gem in your badge ring. Sure a 20 agi/20 mastery gem will get you the socket bonus, but you only get 30 total agility out of it. The 40 agi will give you more then 30 agi + 20 mastery.

thank you so much guys for the help ... wowreforge is awesome. i love it. it took me to exactly 8% hit and 26 expertise.

i ran the 2nd half of LFR and was top tps at 55K on deathwing, of course i want it to be higher so i'll definitely have to work on it.
